CMS - what's that?

CMS or Content Management System provides a way to easily edit and organise your website, perhaps analagous to a photo scrap book. It allows you to focus on the information, rather than the design, which we will take care of.

The client simply adds content pieces - even Flash elements - to the site using a web browser and voila, it appears wrapped in the visual design, without writing a single line of HTML code. Thyon Design uses a simple yet poweful CMS system, called Contao CMS that is both easy to understand, flexible to implement and will produces completely valid and accessible XHTML.

We are experienced in both creating the visual design of the site and managing the Contao CMS system - which includes installation, configuration and assisting with your site layout, ways to organise and finally training on the system.
